Storage Industry Supplier

The Self Storage Association of Australasia is a group of self storage facility owners, managers and suppliers interested in fostering the development of the self storage industry on a sound ethical and professional basis. Membership has become an asset assisting the growth and profitability of members' businesses. Members are able to pool their resources to increase public awareness, enhance their image and stimulate overall demand for the industry.

SSAA members keep abreast of current industry activities and events through a regular journal, annual convention, public communications, seminars, training and educational and informative materials for self storage owners, operators, business managers and suppliers.

The association represents approximately 80% of Self Storage facilities in Australia and New Zealand

As a service member of the Association you have a unique opportunity to market your products and services directly to the industry.

Membership entitles you to:

• Free advertising in the products and services section of the website;
• Inclusion on the associations list of approved suppliers;
• Priority and discounted access to stands and sponsorship at the SSAA convention and trade show;
• Opportunity to place a “product update” advertorial in the industry magazine “Insider” twice a year;
• Inclusion in regular Service E-News, e-mailed to all members
• Discounted advertising opportunities in the industry magazine, Almanac and exhibiting and sponsoring the annual convention.
• Opportunity to place advertising material in new members kit, sent to all new members
• Access to the association membership list for your own mail outs and promotional activities.
• Opportunity to network with existing and potential facility owners at regional meetings and other industry events.

In addition you will receive all the information, publications and other correspondence that all members of the association receive, which will help you keep abreast of industry issues and ensure you have current information when dealing with the Self Storage industry.

The association is rather unique in the fact that we also have a service member on our board of directors (one of 8 members of the board). This ensures that service members also have a say in the strategic direction of the association and the industry. As a service member you have the right to vote, nominate or become this important industry representative.
